On Tuesday, May 21st, fourth grader Lucas Roszkowski, was presented with the Samuel Stern. Lucas was nominated for this award because of his remarkable progress over the past four years. Lucas has shown improvement in his behavior and social skills and a true passion for learning. Last year he moved from a six student class to an 8:1:1 and next year he will be attending an inclusion program. On behalf of the entire team that worked with Lucas – all of his teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists, his parents Rob and Fernanda, unit coordinator Josephine Morales, assistant principals Gregg Lopez and Jeanne Zucker, and his principal, Richard Marowitz:
Lucas, we are all so proud of you!
