Hello P255Q community!
By now most of you are up and running in Google Classroom and it is very nice to see students and parents engaging with teachers and paraprofessionals . Teachers have been reaching out with activities and messages to interact with their students. Although we are physically apart, we are still very much together. We understand these are very challenging times and we want to be here to support you as much as possible.
Here are some resources that may help you in the case you are still having technical issues.
How do students access Google Classroom?
- 1. Go to https://accounts.google.com/
- 2. Enter your DOE Student Username. – You should have received this from your child’s teacher.
- 3. Click Next.
- 4. Enter your password.
- 5. Click Next.
- 6. If the username and password entered are correct, you will be signed-in successfully.
If you have any issues, try resetting the password here. You will need your child’s OSIS number. You can get this from your child’s teacher.
You can also communicate with your child’s teacher using Remind. Remind Access Info
If you need a device for your child you can apply for one from the DOE by following this link. https://coronavirus.schools.nyc/RemoteLearningDevices
