Parent Coordinator
Greetings, P255Q Families!
My name is Elizabeth Durand, and I serve as the Parent Coordinator for our ten P255Q locations!
I am also the proud mother of a fourteen-year-old on the Autism Spectrum. In my role as Parent Coordinator, my goal is to keep you informed, engaged, and well-equipped to support your child’s development. Your involvement is crucial, and your child will greatly benefit from your participation.
I understand that attending meetings or workshops can be difficult due to our busy schedules, but we will offer various opportunities—both virtual and in-person—for you to connect with your child’s school community. We will discuss a range of topics, including:
- Understanding Your Child’s IEP
- Understanding Supports & Services Administered by OPWDD
- Toileting Workshop
- PTA Events • Parent/Sibling Connections Meetings
- And much more!
Additionally, we will have exciting events to foster our school community spirit, such as:
- Special Spooky Movie Night
- A Cultural Winter Wonderland Dance
- Family Gym Night
- PTA Parent Paint Day
- An Autism Walk and Resource Fair
- PROM
- And so much more!
